Gospel Hootenanny Record

Post by lonemesa »

In the early to mid 70's my parents, Noeldean and Elizabeth Rhoten, went to the Full Gospel Assembly Church in Oklahoma City, where Pastor Jay Hibbard preached.

I was only a very little kid (like 4 or 5 years old), but I still have vivid memories of that church and some of the people.

My mom still has the record "Gospel Hootenanny". I wish I could get that record on CD or be able to download the songs to my Ipod!

Hi Lonemesa! I am Sandy Hibbard Wright. I certainly remember the Gospel Hootenanny days, since they took up a great majority of my life! I think of those days so fondly. I sang in the choir and in a girls group (I was in Jr. High and High School) called the "HandMaidens". Too much fun! Email me at my email address and I will see what I can do to get you a copy of one of the old Gospel Hootenanny records, mom and dad still have a couple. I am living in Dallas since 1993. Mom and dad are still in OKC and still pastor Full Gospel. The church is now called Covenant Fellowship though.

Email me your contact info at sandy@lyricmarketing.com

Warm Regards,

Sandy
