Lacy Family

Was thrilled to find this site and get some new information on my Lacy branch. While researching my ancestor William Parks Lacy, I noticed that this site has his ancestor Thomas Betts Lacy being born in 1732 even though his listed father Henry Lacy's death date is 1717 and his mother's death date is 1711. Are they his grandparents instead of parents? Would appreciate any help with my confusion. Thank you
