Hi Paul.

I also am a descendant of the Hibbards of Stafford, TX. My mother was Mary Elizabeth Hibbard d/o George Andrew Hibbard s/o Loran Hibbard and Mary Ann Fike. Loran married 4 times that I know of. His second wife was Mrs. Eliza Hinds (do not know her maiden name), his third wife was Ricca Eggart and his fourth wife was Francis Johnson. He had children with the first three wives.

I also am trying to find exactly where the cemetery is in Stafford. I have some leads, but nothing definite.

Rhonda Carter has done a lot of research on the Hibbard family and has a lot of information. I also am searching for decendants of Loran Hibbard. I would like to know where you fit into the Stafford Hibbard clan.

My name is Billy, eldest son of Dee, and would like to know the location of the cemetary also. I live in Pearland (Brazoria Co) not too far from Stafford. I understand from conversations with my Dad, that the cemetary and old home place was near the Blueridge area SE of Stafford point, but I'm not sure. They have developed this area into sub-divisions, named Quail Valley and others. FM 2234 goes from old 288 to Stafford & Sugarland, and there is a lot of open land on the south side of the road, but no signs to tell you what is out there. If someone knows the boundaries maybe we could locate it...waiting...

My dad said that there’s a Hibbard cemetery. He said it’s in the middle of a cow pasture. I’m a descendent of Loran Hibbard.
